A Day that Changed Everything
Alpha and Beta spend their days exploring Harvest Grove together, playing games, visiting their neighbors, and helping care for the pumpkin patches they love. The five-year-old twins are rarely far apart, and an ordinary day in the Grove is always more fun when they share it.
But one day, something strange begins happening to the pumpkins. They crack, sag, and start falling apart right before the twins’ eyes. As Alpha and Beta try to understand what is happening, an extraordinary discovery will change the pumpkin patches of Harvest Grove forever.
Who Are Alpha & Beta
Alpha and Beta are energetic five-year-old twins who are almost always side by side. They love exploring Harvest Grove, playing games, and spending time outdoors, but some of their happiest days are spent caring for the pumpkin patches that grow throughout the Grove.
Whether they're checking the vines, tending the garden, or racing off on another little adventure, Alpha and Beta make a lively team. Alpha may be a little bigger, but Beta is never far behind, and wherever one twin goes, the other is usually close by. Together, they bring twice the curiosity, twice the energy, and twice the fun to Harvest Grove.

Bumper the beagle and Curry the orange cat are familiar faces in Alpha and Beta’s adventures. Whether they’re racing up to greet the twins or simply tagging along, these two are always happy to see their fairy friends.
The Science Behind Alpha & Beta
In Harvest Grove, Alpha and Beta’s remarkable gift is magical-but the inspiration behind their story is real.
Alpha and Beta are inspired by alpha-carotene and beta-carotene, two natural plant compounds found in pumpkins and other orange fruits and vegetables. In the story, the twins discover a gift that helps pumpkins that are cracking and falling apart become firm and whole again. In the real world, carotenoids such as alpha- and beta-carotene are associated with supporting healthy skin, including its strength, structure, and ability to maintain its integrity.
That connection inspired Alpha and Beta’s magical gift-the ability to help things stay strong and hold together. While the story is make-believe, the inspiration behind it comes from nature. Every Harvest Grove adventure begins with a remarkable gift found in nature and transforms it into a magical tale children will remember.
